Terminals - hours of operation
Entry to LAX is only allowed for airline passengers and persons meeting, accompanying or assisting them, and airport personnel whose employment requires their presence. LAX is closed to the general public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Bank of America operates ATMs located in both departures and arrival levels in all terminals at LAX
ICE Currency Exchange booths are located on the departures (post-security) and arrivals level in Terminals 2, 5, 6, and Tom Bradley International Terminal. In addition, there are booths on the departures (post-security) in Terminls 3, 4 and 7.
Cash advances (up to $300 in US Dollars), on Visa and Mastercards are available at the ICE Currency Exchange Kiosks in Terminal 2, 3, 5, 7 and Tom Bradley International Terminal.
All ICE Currency Exchange booths sell international and domestic Sim Cards.
U.S. Postal Service
Postal services are not available in any of the terminals at LAX. Travelers need to mail their correspondence before coming to the airport. The nearest U.S. Postal Service is located at 8821 Aviation Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90009. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information, call 1-800-ASK-USPS.
Free Wi-Fi available in all departure level public areas and baggage claim. The Wi-Fi service allows passengers to enjoy unlimited 45-minute sessions of free Wi-Fi access. Passengers using this free service will be presented with an ad or a short video (15 to 30 seconds) before unlimited Wi-Fi access begins.

Lost and Found
In case your checked baggage is lost or damaged or you forgot a personal belonging inside the aircraft, contact your airline or go to its check in desk area. Otherwise:
If you are still at the airport
The best place to begin your search is by identifying when and where you last saw your item. Check with Restaurants and LAX Stores, Car Rental Agencies in case you have left a car for hire. For lost passports contact U.S. Customs at (310) 665-4560.
If you already left the airport
The LAX Lost and Found receives items found throughout the airport (I.e. gate, curbside, ticketing, etc.) 24 to 48 hours after the item is found, excluding holidays and weekends. Items lost at the TSA checkpoint are turned in to the Airport Police approximately 5 to 10 days from the date lost.

Medical and First Aid
Emergencies 424-646-7911 First Aid Station Tom Bradley International Terminal (Terminal B) Upper/Departures Level Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. If the First Aid Station is not staffed, please use the two phones outside of the station for medical assistance.
Automated External Defibrillators
Defibrillators are available and located at security posts in the terminals beyond passenger screening stations and on bicycle patrol units. Airport Police officers have been fully trained in the use of this life-saving device so they can respond in an emergency. In situations of a more complex nature, paramedic ambulance assistance can be demanded within minutes by contacting any airline employee or LAX Airport Police at (310) 646-7911.
Traveling with animals
It is important to check with your airline about the rules and procedures for safely traveling with pets. All information about pet carriers, limits on the number and types of animals allowed in airline cabins, and picking up animals at baggage claim areas should be provided by your airline. Pet Relief stations are available indoor and outdoor through the airport
Requesting a Wheelchair
To Request wheelchair service, it is recommended you contact your airline 72 hours in advance. Wheelchair service is provide free of charge by your airline. Tipping is not required for wheelchair service.
From Parking Structure Airlines are not responsible for providing wheelchair service from parking structures to terminals. Most individuals requesting wheelchair assistance are transported via wheelchair from ticketing to their aircraft.
Airlines are required to provide curbside wheelchair service when requested. On your return flight, you should remind a flight attendant near the end of your flight, that you will need a wheelchair upon arrival.
